I’m trying to get ahold of my doc but thought I’d see if anyone had experience with this in the meantime. Today at my apartment, they burst in yelling “pest control!” and started spraying chemicals all over! I tried telling them I was pregnant and didn’t know if they should but they said they had to, it was apartment maintenance. The fumes are pretty strong, I opened up every window and door in the place. Has anyone had pest control while they were pregnant? Does anyone know if it could cause harm to my baby? (I’m 12 weeks along). Thank you!
I know it can’t be good to inhale chemicals, but does any one know if it’s a really high risk?

YES, go to the ER!! They should NEVER do that…what if a baby or child had been in there??? I would be calling the company and filing a complaint. The do NOT need to be doing that without proper warning, and give the ppl in the home time to evacuate!!

Keep tying to get ahold of the doctor and call your apartment manager. I am in the apartment management Field and I would never dream of doing this to a resident! They are supposed to give you notice if they are going to come into your unit!
But I think since you opened all of your windows and stuff you should be fine
